/Artistic Mission |
Kaleidoscope is the 3rd annual exhibition of photographs by Susan Gallagher, Carol Horvitz, Karen Hosking, and Diana Ronell. This year they are being joined by three alumnae from Montserrat College of Art, Michelle Behre, Jade Brewer, and Dani Shirtcliff.
This exhibition is part of a continuing process and conversation that started three years ago in a desire to reveal and share their photographs and aesthetic experience. Their motivation is about discovery and imagination. Presented here are the expressions of each photographer as she explores and makes visible her responses to the landscape in all of its wonder and beauty. All of the artists in this exhibition have very distinct and unique ways in which they approach their subject matter. Their photographs express a vitality of vision, and together display multiple ways the artist can work within a single theme to form very personal and creative expressions. There is a very lyrical and harmonious aspect to their photographs which is amplified within the context of this exhibition. The photographers, coming from very different backgrounds and experience, present their work here for everyone to enjoy. Please feel free to leave your thoughts and comments or use our contact us form to make an inquiry. We wish to thank Stella Johnson, the curator for this exhibition. We are inspired by her generosity, help, and support. She and others have helped stimulate our passion for photography, shaped our vision, and provided invaluable guidance and inspiration. |
